Kondari Resort is a few minutes walk to the shores of Hervey Bay. From August to October, Hervey Bay is the world's premier Whale Watching destination, as the whales spend time in the sheltered bay before their return journey south to Antarctica. Whale Watching boats depart from nearby jetties and after a short cruise, take you within metres of these magnificent creatures. Outside whale season, Hervey Bay is home to dolphins, turtles, dugongs and many other local inhabitants. Across the water you can explore the Heritage listed Fraser Island with its tropical rainforests, endless beaches and crystal clear lakes.

The resort rooms have tasteful decor and are kept clean. They are motel style and have tea & coffee makers, mini bar, iron & ironing board, in-house movies and individually controlled air- conditioning.
